Getting a New Piano!

You are called upon to help fund a new and appropriate piano for a place that is the home of musicians!

Beit Haamudim is the home of Israeli jazz musicians, where they have grown up since they were children, where they perform for the first time, where they return after a glorious career abroad, this is where they come to meet the community, this is where 15 pianists will gather (some of them are signed by the biggest labels in the world of jazz) and will dedicate their time to participate in a video to recruit a new piano.

Beit Haamudim has always grown as a result of the collaboration between the musicians and the audience, there is something social about it, the audience of the Beit Haamudim is of people who really come to listen to music and be a part. The piano in the Beit Haamudim is already old, old, battered, the pianists are often embarrassed to play it, the other musicians are also embarrassed by it and at the end the audience gets less good music. We sent Jonathan Riklis and Eden to trial, two excellent pianists with a different playing style, along with a photographer (who is also a pianist) to Melnik Pianos to choose a new piano for Beit Haamudim.

We chose an amazing piano, and then we brought in 15 of the best pianists who play regularly in Beit Haamudim so that they could play a piece on the piano and say what they think of the piano. Pinchas and Tomer from Melnik Pianos, the piano shop, donated the first 10K.

Now you need the power of the amazing audience and community of Beit Haamudim to bring a new piano to Beit Haamudim. The pieces that all the pianists have recorded and what each pianist said about the piano are waiting for you Share so we can succeed!
